Job Description

CLERICAL VACANCY
2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR


Position:
                                 Payroll Clerk (12-month, part-time, 20 hours/week)

Location:                                 Kendall Business Office, Elementary School

Requirement:                        

  • (A) Two (2) year degree in Business or Accounting and experience using computers with business applications, OR
  • (B) Graduation from high school or possession of high school equivalency diploma and three (3) years of experience in maintaining payroll or financial accounts and records and experience using computers with business applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience with processing school district payroll.
  • Experience with using the computer program, nVision.

Compensation:                     

  • Between $16-$25 per hour (commensurate based on experience)

*Please note:  The successful candidate will need to complete a Orleans County Civil Service Application prior to appointment. The successful candidate would be hired provisionally until the Payroll Clerk exam is offered by Orleans County Civil Service and then must pass the exam and be reachable on the list.
